The story follows the life of Masoud (Roozbeh Hessari), a forest ranger working in environmental protection. He is forced into marriage with his cousin Mahtab (Mina Vahid), a surgeon. Their marriage is full of tension and lack of understanding, leading them to consider divorce after five years.

The events take a dramatic turn when Masoud, while performing his duties, shoots at illegal hunters, injuring one of them. Both the injured hunter and Masoud are taken to the hospital, where Mahtab happens to be the attending surgeon. This incident sparks a chain of family and societal conflicts that deeply affect their lives.
